Sedation is a safe, affordable method to find the courage you need to complete your dental care.  Dr. Evans is certifed in the art of Oral Conscious Sedation.  After an initial evaluation of your health history and vital signs, you will be given a prescription that you will begin taking the night before.  You will need someone to drive you  to and from your appointment. 
 
After you arrive, the entire team at Hickory Hills is committed to your sucess. You will be monitored with a pulse oxometer that will follow your vital signs, You are partially awake and partially asleep. You will drift in and out of sleep, responding to verbal questions when asked.
 
The better news is that usually after some time spent in care with Dr. Evans and his team, a trust is built and people find they are able to enter into treatment without the help of sedation.
 
Sedation is also a great way to simply enjoy needed dental work, making hours spent in the office seam like moments.
